Underrated Bollywood Actors that need more Fame and Limelight

The Bollywood industry has given us many legendary actors and actresses that have made an everlasting impact on our minds. While some are enjoying all the luxury along with fame and limelight, there are some actors that are equally or more talented than these superstars but don’t have the deserving fame and position in the industry.

A famous line perfectly suits here which was quoted by Oscar Wilde. His words were, “The public is wonderfully tolerant. It forgives everything except genius.” A similar thing is happening in Bollywood where actors who are indeed genius with their performances and acting don’t get the right appreciation.

Bloggers Globe presents a list of top 5 underrated actors that are definitely better than those actors whom we call best.

#5 Abhay Deol

An actor should be aware of his own limitations along with the acting skills he/she inherits. Abhay Deol is a perfect example for the same that is undoubtedly one of the finest actors available in Bollywood. Some of his works like ‘Dev D’ and ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ are among the critically acclaimed movies that have brought this actor in the limelight. Though, Abhay Deol still deserves better roles and movies that he has been doing in the last decade or so.

#4 Vijay Raaz

Vijay Raaz has been famous for his comic roles in various movies like ‘Run’, ‘Delhi Belly’, and ‘Monsoon Wedding’. Belonging to the deep roots of theatres, Vijay Raaz is yet another talented superstar that hasn’t got the opportunity he deserved till yet. Though, he nailed his performance in ‘Gully Boy’ recently which was loved by almost every cinema lover. Raaz is believed to be a versatile actor who is having a different range for different roles.

#3 Jimmy Shergill

A popular face in both Hindi and Punjabi industry, Jimmy Shergill has been acting in numerous movies without thinking about the budget and any other factor. The actor just loves acting and is completely impatient for coming on the big screen, performing and winning hearts of the audience. Shergill made his debut with the movie ‘Maachis’ from where he continued playing major roles in films. His acting in ‘Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster’ and ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’ was highly appreciated which might have opened the gate for new opportunities for this actor. But unluckily, it didn’t happen and the actor is yet again lost far from Bollywood’s limelight.

#2 Manoj Bajpai

The acting of Manoj Bajpai is none other than a gem for viewers. The variant offbeat and unconventional roles that he has been playing throughout his career make him an underrated Bollywood actor that deserves more fame. The actor was recently appreciated for his role in ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ as Sardar Khan who is a two-time National award winner. But the winds in Bollywood are changing and we can feel the momentum getting shifted, especially towards this actor.

#1 K.K. Menon

It’s almost impossible to find an actor equipped with different emotions along with versatile acting skills and good look. But, one could find all these components in K.K. Menon who is a phenomenal actor by profession. Menon has successfully managed to bring the best out of him; nailing the roles he had been offered.  It won’t be wrong to say that Menon is among those few actors who can breathe life into dead roles. Moreover, movies like ‘Life in a metro’, ‘Gulaal’, ‘Hazaron Khwahishein Aisi’, and ‘Haider’ have won him several critically acclaimed awards as well.
